What quality of images do
you offer? Our
prints are processed by a professional lab. All prints are full bleed,
printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive professional photographic paper using
Fuji Frontier printers, processed through professional Fuji Hunt
Chemicals. The archival quality of this process is 50+ years, before
fading may occur.
What do I get with a digital image? Our
digital files are provided in a .jpg format of approximately 2100 x 1400 pixels.
Digital files are great
for sending to sponsors (see commercial usage information below), and can be used to make excellent quality
300+dpi 4x6 prints on your home printer.
Will my picture look better than is does on the web site? Yes!
The volume of photos taken don’t allow us to process most pictures until
they are ordered. Every photo, printed or digital is processed to look its
best. The latest in digital software is used to sharpen, clean, and
color-correct each individual image. The photo is then cropped for the
correct aspect ratio, and the MSI watermark is removed.
How long will it take to receive my prints/digital files? Prints
are typically mailed in 3 to 5 business days. Digital files will be
available within 24-48 hours of placing your order.
What if I don't like my print/digital file?
Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If you are not
happy with our product for any reason, we will replace it free of charge.
Can I make copies or scan my print? Yes,
but scanned and reprinted images will NOT have the quality of a
print from the original image.
Can I print my own photos if I purchase a digital file? Yes,
however small digital files will look good on your computer screen, but
they will lack detail when printed. Large digital files can be printed for
your own personal use. However, they can NOT be used in any commercial
publication, advertisement, or design without express written permission
from Midwest Sports Imaging. If you intend to use an image for
commercial purposes, you must contact MSI to discuss pricing, usage rights
or image release. Most commercial sponsors will require a photographer's
release before they will accept an image.
